Habitat

Blue Seastars inhabit the tropical Indo-Pacific waters, typically found on sandy bottoms, coral rubble, and reef areas at depths of 1-60 meters. They prefer areas with good water circulation and stable conditions.

Diet

Omnivorous scavengers that feed on detritus, small invertebrates, organic matter, and algae. In aquariums, they help clean the substrate and should be supplemented with sinking pellets and frozen foods.
