Habitat

Emperor Angelfish are native to the Indo-Pacific region, inhabiting coral reefs and rocky outcrops at depths ranging from 1-100 meters. They prefer areas with strong water currents and abundant coral growth.

Diet

These fish are omnivorous, feeding primarily on sponges, tunicates, algae, and small invertebrates. In aquariums, they require a diverse diet including high-quality marine pellets, frozen foods, and marine vegetation.

Physical Characteristics

  • Juveniles display completely different coloration (dark blue with white and blue circular stripes)
